Freedom Alliance recently received this thank you email from one of our Scholarship recipients, Christopher Johnson. Christopher’s father, Army Captain Dale Johnson, was 100 percent permanently disabled as a result of his military service and later died.

“To the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund – My name is Christopher Johnson.  I am currently pursuing a degree in Radiation Therapy at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, class of 2011.  Over the past 4 years, I have been blessed enough to have received the Freedom Alliance Scholarship.  I cannot even begin to describe how grateful I am to have had such a generous donation to my future!  I would to start by first thanking not only everyone that works at Freedom Alliance, but would like to extend my thank you to all the generous donors who have provided all of the recipients with these scholarships.

This scholarship has meant a great deal to my family and I.  Without this scholarship, my financial burden would have been much greater that what it is now.  The idea that I can breathe easier every semester knowing that I have the support of this wonderful scholarship not only eases my mind, but it encourages me to work harder.  The way I see it, my education is an investment, and Freedom Alliance has invested a great deal in me.  I take pride in my school work and it has brought me to a level that I never knew I could accomplish, thanks to your scholarship.  I’ve worked hard to get where I am today and I am proud to say that the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund played a major role in my success!  I know that I have made my family proud with my success in school and if my father Dale were alive today to see me succeed, I know he would be the proudest of all.”
