Freedom Alliance would like to congratulate scholarship recipient Christopher Mondie in his recent acceptance to New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Christopher is finishing his senior year at Rider University where he is a Behavioral Neuroscience major and will start medical school in the fall.

Christopher also recently coordinated a “Gifts from Home” drive for Freedom Alliance, collecting 40 boxes for troops in Afghanistan.

His father, Army Captain Donald Mondie, is 100 percent permanently disabled due to exposure to Agent Orange from his service in Vietnam.

During an internship with an EMT unit this past summer Christopher wrote to Freedom Alliance that he was grateful for the recognition of his fathers service “The only way for me to convey my sincere gratitude is to continue to do well, and one day be able to give back to the Freedom Alliance, as they continue to support the sons and daughters of our American Heroes,” said Christopher.

Christopher has certainly lived up to his word. Freedom Alliance is proud of his academic and civic achievements and grateful for his father’s service to our Country.
