On June 29, Freedom Alliance hosted a Troop Appreciation Dinner for 40 service members recuperating at the Fort Drum Warrior Transition Unit. Family members also attended and were grateful for the opportunity to spend quality time with their loved ones. The dinner was held at the Tin Pan Galley in Sackets Harbor, New York, and was served in the restaurant’s outdoor garden which provided a relaxing atmosphere.  Some of the soldiers were guests at previous Freedom Alliance dinners and spoke of the  fond memories they had from those events.

“The event was great.  There should be more events like this,” said SPC Matt Marosevic.  “It brings us all closer together and helps us better in the work place.  So thank you once again for this and good luck with your future missions.”

Freedom Alliance regularly hosts Troop Appreciation Dinners for military personnel around the country to honor and thank them for their service and sacrifice.  The dinners also afford an opportunity for our troops to enjoy time out with their friends, families and comrades.  Freedom Alliance covers all the costs of these dinners, thanks to so many patriotic Americans, who support our work.
