On November 9, 2021, Freedom Alliance presented a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan to Army SPC David Beck in National City, California. David and his wife Heidy described the vehicle as ‘life changing’ for them and their five children.
SPC Beck served as a combat engineer during his five years of active duty including a year deployed to Afghanistan where his unit encountered more than 40 IEDs. David received a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in combat, and he medically retired in 2013. Freedom Alliance was proud to honor David’s service with this gift.
David said, “Not having a family car in many years, we haven’t been able to travel as a family. Someone was always left behind with their grandmother. This vehicle will make our lives less complicated as I now can focus on work, and my wife is able to take care of the children. Freedom Alliance has helped my family tremendously.”
