On March 29, 2021, Freedom Alliance and US Bank presented a 2018 Dodge Journey to U.S. Army SGT Stephanie Vazquez in Madison, Tennessee.
SGT Vazquez served eight years in the Army, deploying twice to Afghanistan. A member of the Female Engagement Team (FET), SGT Vazquez was wounded in a firefight while on patrol in a village. Her injuries resulted in a lower-leg amputation, and she medically retired in 2014.
“It’s inspiring to see such strong women as part of the FET,” Freedom Alliance President Tom Kilgannon said at the presentation ceremony, “I’m pleased that we are able to help SGT Vazquez continue to be that inspiration.”
