One hundred families turned out for this year’s 29 Palms Wounded Warrior Battalion Christmas party. In honor of the occasion, Freedom Alliance donated $500 worth of gift cards from local shops and restaurants for giveaways.

The coordinator of the event wrote, “With the amount provided, almost every family was able to get a gift card, which is much needed for them at this time of year.”

The Commanding Officer of the Wounded Warrior Battalion West, Camp Pendleton, was in attendance, as well; both he and the 29 Palms WW CO publicly thanked Freedom Alliance for its support.

Twentynine Palms is always abounding with appreciation for any help they receive, being that the base is rather isolated in the Yucca Valley desert and unused to assistance.

“It’s just been a wonderful experience working with Freedom Alliance,” the coordinator said. “You really went above and beyond to reach us here in 29 Palms…. So thank you again for making the wounded warriors Christmas party a joyous and memorable event.”
