Freedom Alliance is excited to announce that LTG Jerry Boykin USA (Ret.) will join us on the 2011 Freedom Cruise, setting sail October 22, 2011, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida for seven nights in the beautiful Caribbean.

If you haven’t met General Boykin, you’ll regret missing this opportunity to hear from a true American hero, who is a legend in the Special Forces community.

In 1978, Jerry Boykin was one of the elite warriors chosen to make up the first unit in America’s ultra secretive and deadly Delta Force. He then became commander of the unit, and later still, commander of all U.S. Army Special Forces.

General Boykin’s distinguished military career spanned 36 years, 24 of which he spent in Joint Special Operations, with a command at every level. In Colombia, Boykin’s task force hunted the notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar. In Panama, he helped capture the brutal dictator Manuel Noriega. From Vietnam, to Iran, to Mogadishu, Jerry Boykin’s career is more exciting than an action-adventure novel. His medals include the Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, Bronze Star, Air Medal and the Purple Heart.

He also spent six years in Intelligence (two with the CIA) and was a member of the National Security Policy Coordinating Committee for Terrorism and Coordinating Sub-Group for Homeland Security. Boykin also served at the Pentagon, as Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence.

General Boykin is one of many distinguished speakers who will participate in our on-board seminars featuring topics such as foreign policy, home-grown terrorism, national security, and many others.
