That’s why Freedom Alliance provides Couples Retreats to military families who are struggling to overcome the wounds of war.
Deployments and war-related injuries strain family relationships which need our help to heal.
Eligibility requirements:
- Service members or veterans who have been wounded by enemy action post 9/11/2001 or serve in the special operations community and have multiple deployments.
- Combat-veteran families are selected to attend family vacation/retreats in
groups based on similar information provided in the application.

Why We Help
Studies show that military deployments increase the risk of divorce. The longer the deployment, the greater the risk. Dangerous deployments to combat zones are more likely to sever a marital relationship.
Through this program, Freedom Alliance helps military couples repair, renew, and strengthen their marriages. We show our appreciation for the times that combat deployments separated husbands and wives and parents from their children.
When Freedom Alliance and our generous partners join forces, military couples have the opportunity to reunite, reengage, and become closer.

My husband and I were completely blessed by the time we got to spend getting to know the other couples on our trip to Wyoming and the hosts as well!
