What is Freedom Alliance and its mission?
Freedom Alliance is an educational and charitable organization which honors and supports America’s military and works to protect American sovereignty and security. Our mission is to “advance the American heritage of freedom by honoring and encouraging military service, defending the sovereignty of the United States and promoting a strong national defense.”

Yes, Freedom Alliance is registered under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our Tax Identification number is: 54-1411430. Contributions to Freedom Alliance are greatly appreciated and are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
How is Freedom Alliance organized?
Freedom Alliance is governed by an independent Board of Directors and recognized by the IRS as a public charity organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. The organization was founded in 1990 by LtCol Oliver North, USMC (Ret.) who continues to serve as our honorary chairman. Tom Kilgannon joined the organization in 1998 and serves as President. He leads the day-to-day activities and reports to the Board of Directors.
How is Freedom Alliance funded?
Freedom Alliance is funded by private, voluntary contributions. Donations are deductible to the extent allowed by law. Each year, Freedom Alliance files a Federal Form 990 (financial statement) with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and submits to an annual, voluntary audit by a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm.
