Why Presents Are Needed
Christmas is a time for joy and family, but for many combat-injured service members and veterans, it can also bring stress and financial strain. Freedom Alliance’s Presents for Patriots program helps lighten that burden by providing gifts to the children of those who have sacrificed so much in service to our country.
Each gift is more than a present; it is a message of appreciation for the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of these families. Through this program, we aim to bring joy, warmth, and the magic of the season to homes that have given so much.

Presents for Patriots is open to active-duty service members and veterans who have deployed in support of the Global War on Terror and are experiencing financial hardships.
Eligibility requirements:
- Applicants must have one or more deployments in support of the Global War on Terror (Post 9/11).
- Applicants are either still serving on active-duty or have separated after 2019.
- Only first time applicants with extenuating financial hardships or those affected by recent natural disasters will be considered.
- Other applicants may be considered based upon availability.
- Application Period: Friday, October 3rd – Friday, November 7th.
