Freedom Alliance invited two veterans and a family member to join us at the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo in Denver, Colorado.

We hosted John, who has traveled a rough road these last few years. Part of a warrior transition unit, John has fought to recover from a botched brain surgery and crippling combat stress.

After two years of therapy and rehabilitation, he has finally been cleared to return to duty. He appreciates Freedom Alliance for its support, which has encouraged him to keep going despite the difficulties he faced.

We also had the privilege of including Tom, who is now retired from the military, as well as his son Aiden. Thanks to Freedom Alliance, Tom and Aiden have had the opportunity to experience together upland game hunting, goose hunting, and now professional bull riding.

Their reaction to the show was unexpected elation. The rodeo clown had the audience splitting their sides with laughter, and the bullfighters and cowboys inspired both panic and awe.

This particular show was a qualifier for the Professional Bull Riders Association, and the event was one that deserves repeating.
