Army Master Sergeant Ed Hawk and his wife Amy were presented with a mortgage-free home in Owensboro, Kentucky on Veterans Day 2019.
Ed enlisted in the Army at 18-years-old; completed the Ranger Indoctrination Program and was selected for the 1st Ranger Battalion. His first of many deployments was Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Iraq. He is a Purple Heart recipient and retired after 21 years of service. Ed and his wife Amy have served as foster parents and adopted three foster children.
