Heroes to Homeowners, helps American Heroes achieve the dream of home ownership. Through a partnership with U.S. bank, the program provides mortgage-free homes to combat-wounded veterans. For those who’ve sacrificed so much, it’s a place of hope and promise and an opportunity to begin anew.

Marine Sergeant Andrea Bruns enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2009. She deployed twice to Afghanistan – first in 2010 and again in 2013. After returning, she finished her enlistment at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.  The tours left her with a number of injuries including: hearing loss, sciatic nerve damage, and post-traumatic stress.
