These have been perhaps the most difficult and unusual weeks in American history. The COVID-19 virus has infected thousands of our fellow Americans and claimed the lives of dozens. It has caused state-wide quarantines and historic losses in the financial markets. It has forced schools, businesses, and churches to close. It is testing our patience and causing fear and anxiety for millions. And yet, there is hope.
This past Christmas, Freedom Alliance partnered with generous supporters to put presents under 85 Christmas trees across the nation, bringing joy to 330 children and their parents on Christmas Day—families who would otherwise have gone without.
Freedom Alliance, an organization supporting our nation’s military families and wounded service members, awarded $2.1 million in college scholarships to 499 students in calendar year 2019.
On Veterans Day, with our partners at U.S. Bank, we honored four wounded veterans by moving them into four newly renovated, mortgage free homes!
Army Master Sergeant Ed Hawk and his wife Amy were presented with a mortgage-free home in Owensboro, Kentucky on Veterans Day.
