Freedom Alliance, a charitable organization which supports our nation’s military families and injured servicemembers, has named Julia Morris, a 2020 graduate of Virginia Tech, as this year’s Scholarship Student Ambassador. Julia is one of 499 students who are currently receiving scholarships from Freedom Alliance.
Freedom Alliance, a charitable organization supporting our nation’s military and injured service members, is accepting applications for college scholarships from the children of military heroes who gave life or limb for our country. This year Freedom Alliance will provide $2 million in college assistance for children of fallen or disabled troops.
Mr. Jerry Morris of Harrisonburg, Virginia died unexpectedly this week – on February 25, 2020 – at his seasonal home in Florida. He was 80 years old when our Lord called him home. Mr. Morris was a longtime supporter of Freedom Alliance, joining the organization shortly after our founding in 1990. He served on our Board of Directors since 2002 and as Chairman of the Board since 2015.
