Freedom Alliance recently hosted a weeklong retreat in Sea Girt, New Jersey, to celebrate and care for the unsung heroes behind our heroes: military caregivers. This peaceful and joy filled gathering provided a much-needed break through rest, fellowship, and thoughtful experiences.
The week kicked off with warm welcomes, cozy rooms, and a dinner filled with laughter and connection. Caregivers enjoyed a full day of pampering, including manicures, facials, and hair styling, small luxuries that made a big impact.
A midweek day trip to New York City brought excitement and wonder, with sightseeing, shopping, and a Broadway show. The rest of the week was a blend of activity and downtime, from pickleball lessons and beach visits to exploring nearby towns and savoring local flavors.
By Saturday, each caregiver departed with renewed energy, deepened friendships, and a strong reminder: their sacrifices are seen, valued, and supported.
This retreat was a heartfelt expression of gratitude, designed to uplift those who give so much of themselves in service to others.
